Jetscapes are built and created by Artist Victoria Heuman and her crew of 3
based out of Seattle, WA USA
JetCityStudio, a business/studio, was established as an entity for Victoria's (out of the envelope) art. Originally named Studio B until it was discovered the building superintendent couldn't keep track of his alphabet up to and including "C" and was apparently too lazy to display the studio letters. A small dispute ensued over the new discovery of C vs. B. Not a yelling match, but more of a mental war. Who in the heck wants to get down-graded from B to C? A tough decision was made. We would have to change our name. We first thought of "Unit A" ( A as in Alki Beach) but wait! We aren't in unit A! So we moved. After moving out we found out it’s not easy to get a studio designated "A" or even "B” We ended up in unit 128!! Not a good name. Seriously, most of the above is true. While Victoria was in Studio B’ish C she envisioned her innovative art. But it was only a vision there. We actually move out of Studio B/C?? Because it was too dang cold and expensive to heat. While in unit 128 her innovative art was realized with the help of her daughter Tiffany and husband David. The Three got together and decided to name the new business JetCityStudio, in keeping of the post modern feel of Victoria's art.

Builder/Husband
When not answering to Victoria's every creative whim, "put this canvas here, NO! put that canvas there..." David can be found playing his guitar. He plays guitar in a local band.

Daughter/Graphic Designer (and everything else that doesn't involve a paintbrush or a screwdriver)
After studying Pre-law in college, Tiffany uses her self-taught skills in graphic/web design and photography to market Victoria's work. AHA! The creative gene prevails! Trying so very hard to be a practical sort of person, Tiffany was elected Graphic Designer/ web Designer/ and marketer of JetCityStudio. She really had no choice in the matter. Perhaps she should have spent more time with her nose in the books vs. goofing off in Photoshop and she might have been in law school already. Although, that Pre-law degree did come in handy when it came time to write that patent! |
